A cluster of large yellow green
Muscovite
crystals from Galileia, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
These are unusual samples from this locality, with their unique color and form.
The muscovite occurs as randomly oriented crystals with many clearly displaying the hexagonal habit of the species.
Most of the specimen is muscovite but there is a scattering of white orthoclase and quartz crystals adding to the aesthetics with effective color contrast.
The specimen’s geometry will allow very effective display.
