This sample of Native Copper from the Mt Elliot Mine, Queensland, Australia consists of a series of crystals in dendritic form.

The copper varies in color from a bright metallic to a deep kidney red.

Disseminated throughout the dendrite a variety of fine, white, reniform globules of carbonate minerals contrasting and highlighting the rich reds of the copper.
